Os High On Fire Estão De Volta às Edições

s icónicos hard rockers High on Fire lançam o seu novo álbum “Cometh the Storm” no dia 19 de abril pela MNRK Heavy .

Foi lançado, no passado dia 16 Fevereiro, o primeiro avanço para o álbum. O tema em questão chama-se “Burning Down” e tem direito a vídeo e que podes ver abaixo.

Jeff Matz caracteriza o tema desta forma: “I think this song harkens back to the early High on Fire sound, but infused with fresh, new elements. It has a killer groove that you can really sink into. The body of the song took shape in our PNW rehearsal space, and we came up with the bridge/solo section and finalized the arrangement while we were at GodCity. Kurt Ballou’s input as a producer was also hugely helpful. His keen ears and fresh perspective were invaluable in making this album.”

“Cometh the Storm” foi gravado  no GodCity Studio em Salem, Massachusetts com o produtor Kurt Ballou . São 11 músicas que celebram os 25 anos da banda e é, também, o nono álbum da banda, sendo assim a primeira música nova dos High on Fire desde “Electric Messiah” de 2018 e a primeira a apresentar o baterista Coady Willis ( Big Business , Murder City Devils ), ao lado do baixista Jeff Matz e do guitarrista/vocalista Matt Pike.
